Thank you for funding the work of The Family Haven, Gloucester. Your grant has enabled us to support families in need at our day centre in Gloucester. You have helped us provide parenting skills workshops, a personal development programme, and deliver healthy midday meals. You have funded respite and crèche sessions to enable parents to attend counselling sessions, housing meetings, English classes and more, confident in the knowledge that their children are well cared for.
The Family Haven
Raising a family is tough at the best of times. Now imagine you’re escaping domestic abuse. Or living in a cramped hostel room. Or finding it impossible to put food on the table. For these families, life can be a desperate struggle. By supporting the work of The Family Haven, you are helping to provide a haven of warmth and learning to children under five in our nursery, whilst our trained staff bring desperately needed support to their mums and dads. Families who arrive in desperate circumstances, leave us with a network of friends, improved confidence, the ability to help themselves, and a permanent roof over their heads. You are changing lives.
